I've always dreamed to travel the world. As a child, I thought being a stewardess would be the way. However, my parents encouraged me to follow my grandmother's and auntie's footsteps as a nurse for a secure, in demand and versatile profession that would still allow me to see the world. My first international flight was from Philippines to Canada in 1976. I then travelled across Canada with family and with friends once in University. I married in 1993 to Edy (born in Taiwan, grew up in Malaysia). We have one daughter, Megan who is now starting to build her own career in Kinesiology. My first Cruise was in 1993- with the Big Red Boat of the Premier Cruise Lines, the predecessor to the Disney Cruises. It was a 4 days cruise to the Bahamas. This was followed by cruises with Princess, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, and Celebrity Cruises , in the Caribbean, Hawaii, Alaska, Europe and Asia. First River Cruise was in 2014 along the Yangtze River in conjunction with a Land Tour which included the Great Wall of China. Second was Viking's City of Lights. First all-inclusive was in 1998 with Sunquest , to Cancun Mexico which cost less than 1 grand per person in the peak month of February. My travel is a mix of flavour reflecting my varied interests with nature to museums, food and history. I like to find the best value for my hard earned money. I recently retired from a very rewarding Nursing Career of 37+ years. Joining Expedia Cruises is very exciting. I am passionate about planning and creating experiences. We only live once.
