As I’ve grown older, I’ve developed a real appreciation for travel. My wife and I have been married for 36 years, and about 12 years ago, she suggested we take a seven-day cruise. I was hesitant at first and came up with countless reasons not to go. But since that first trip, we’ve enjoyed five cruises and several land-based getaways. So far, we’ve visited 11 countries and 24 cruise ports—and I’m excited to see where we’ll go next. I’ve gone from the reluctant traveler to the one eagerly researching and planning our next adventure.
