In grade 12 as part of a high school exchange program, I spent a week with a German family on a whirlwind tour of Europe. The following year, after graduating from grade 13, I traveled with two friends in a beat up 1967 Volkswagen Beetle completely around the Mediterranean Sea. This was the beginning of my love of travel. I have been to Europe several times, and along with my family have been fortunate to have traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada camping and also, most recently, having enjoyed the luxury of cruising. After a 40 year career in the fire service, I am enthusiastically training and learning to become a travel consultant and sharing some of my experiences and love of travel with others.
