First of all I have to give credit where credit is due. Marla is an expert at finding the right cruise for the right person. But did you also know that because she is a travel agent she can help with any land trip that you would like to do. I have been travelling to Mexico for years and my first experience was on a cruise that Marla lovingly booked for us. I travelled with my husband and two friends and we got married on a beautiful beach and had our honeymoon all in one fell swoop. We had such a great time that when it came time to book another vacation, this time with a co-worker I called Marla again. Last year I spent a week at Now Amber Resort and Spa in Puerto Vallarta. Before we left I started to come down with something. Basically I woke up with a tickle in my throat on the morning of the flight and didn’t give it much merit. By the 2nd day I had lost my voice and by day 4 my left ear was really sore. Thankfully they have a doctor available 24hrs a day. After seeking treatment within 24hrs I had my voice back and my ear didn’t hurt anymore. This did not ruin my vacation at all. Still had such a good time that when I was panning a trip for this year I new where I wanted to go. Maybe I wanted a do-over. So back to Now Amber. We stayed in the preferred tower this time. Smaller building, less people made it feel special. Now Amber is gorgeous, and the staff are very well trained. “Welcome home’ is how we were greeted upon arrival. Cool scented moist towels and a sparkling beverage were handed to us right away. Check in was super simple and we chose to skip the coupons that were offered to us from the Unlimited Vacations representative. We travelled from April 19 - 26. The resort was at 100% capacity because it was Easter. An amazing thing happened half way through our trip. One of our rooms was needed for new guests coming in so they offered us a free upgrade to a master suite. Se we ended up having the whole 3rd floor corner to ourselves. The m Nancy. Comox Valley
