Hello and welcome!

My name is Bev Furniss, and I was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. After 35 years with the Federal Government it’s time to explore one of my true passions, a Travel Consultant. I enjoy travelling and spending time with family that includes two grandsons and four bonus grandchildren. I got the travel bug in my mid 20s, after a week in Mexico. Fast forward 35 years, and I have visited four continents and many countries.

Where I've been and favourite trip:

• Cruised the Caribbean , Mediterranean and a Trans-Atlantic crossing
• Sat on the beaches of Cuba, Mexico, Antigua and Barbuda and Dominican Republic
• Biking through the Netherlands
• One serious road trip through the US
• Toured Ireland, Spain, South Africa and Portugal

My favourite trip to date: We flew to London, England, toured the city for a few days before flying to South Africa, where we met up with a coach tour. We headed north to the Drakensburg Mountains, then south along the Indian Ocean to Cape Town, camping all the way. Three short weeks later, I was back in London saying good-bye to some family and then headed to Portugal with my sister to meet up with our mother in the beautiful Algarve Region. After a week with Mom, we took a train to Lisbon and spent a day exploring the city before heading home.

• Seeing the Canadian Rockies by rail
• European River Cruise
• Disney Cruise with grandchildren (and maybe a parent or two)
